  • Comment: The biggest testament to a contractor team in my book is that I feel a little sad when they leave, and that was the case with the Mt. Pleasant install team and photographer. Our installation day was a dream come true for us, and they all embraced our excitement, letting us gawk, joking with us, and just being great sports about it all. Shoutout to Eric, Joey, Josh, Charlie, Blaine, and Henry, too! \r\n\r\nOur window project was a dramatic before and after, and the whole team seemed just as enthusiastic as we were. They even let us pose for a picture in the window cutout. \r\n\r\nEveryone was respectful, enthusiastic, pleasant, and personal. Our salesperson even gave me some salvaged antique window frames because he thought I would appreciate them based on my style and love of vintage. You\'d also never know there was a wall cut out that day as they left the place in great shape. \r\n\r\nAbove all, what I appreciate about this window job is that the company operates on a very human level. Right after we ordered our window and put our down payment on it, we faced an unexpected personal hardship that changed our financial situation overnight. I felt so nervous, and frankly, embarrassed, to call and delay the installation, but the team was so compassionate and patient with us. They stuck it out with us, and they didn\'t gouge us for the delay. This is the part of the job that I will remember forever. In a world that often prioritizes money over people, they did the opposite. \r\n\r\nAs a side note: the only reason I docked a star was because I am extremely detail-oriented, and the sill has a gap where it meets the glass, and where the arch meets the vertical trim is a little crooked on one side. I don\'t know if these are inherent challenges based on the size, or if it\'s even something that can be tweaked at this point.
