I was skeptical at first my home is very close to road, lots of road noise. The salesman said they work well I must say after the install not all the noise has left but 60% better and we noticed rooms are a lot cooler! Wonderful experience from start to finish. I called on a Friday in a panic because my dog had jumped on and broken the old storm door (not installed by Mt. Pleasant Windows). Their sales manager, Greg, came out on a Saturday to figure out how we needed to proceed and then their Project Manager, Britton, came out on a Monday to get the old door functional until the new doors came in. There was excellent communication while waiting for the doors to be made and then the install team, Joe, Matt, and Charlie, was quick, friendly, polite and cleanly. I couldn’t have asked for anything more!

To be honest it is difficult this day and age to find a contractor that you can honestly say they were excellent from the very beginning of the process right through job completion with no hiccups whatsoever. The best thing about the whole process was the excellent workmanship, dedication to the job, and interpersonal skills of the installers, Joe and Brandon. I wish all contractors could be so thorough, competent, and neat in their work. The estimator/sales rep was also thorough, as well as courteous. I only wish he did not jump to preparing a contract on the spot at the time of the bid, before we had a little time to consider all of our options. We ended up with a price that would normally be matched to a higher end home rather than a very modest rental house (3 entry doors for over $16,000). The bottom line is that I much prefer and trust Mt. Pleasant Window over any other company for installation work, but there is only one line of doors available, and it is top of the line. I would rather pay even more for labor (as this crew so well deserves), and have the option to choose from a more modest line of doors that are still of reasonable quality. They did have to be custom made due to unusual dimensions, but even given that, the manufacturer\'s cost was very much on the high side.

The reason for the extra day was due to the fact that our certified installers had to frame in some of the windows in the enclosure since the original wood in the enclosure was pretty old. After having to overcome some unforeseen obstacles removing the old windows on this home that the installers don't normally come across, we were able to install multiple beautiful new ProVia windows for the homeowner in Wexford! Our installers were able to install beautiful new teal ProVia doors with storm doors in two days on the jobsite. Despite encountering a few difficult spots with this job, it was nothing our ProVia Certified Installers couldn't handle. In two days on the jobsite, our installers were able to replace and install eight ProVia windows for the customer in Greensburg. The first day on the job was spent by our installers removing the older windows that we were replacing and getting the new windows settled into place and foamed by our installers. The next day on the job was spent putting the finishing touches on the window in putting the metal that will go around the windows. Our installers were able to replace and install a brand new ProVia entry door with a sidelite and new window transom above in one and a half days on the jobsite. The installers completed a majority of the work on the first day and came back to put the finishing touches on the door the next day. Though we normally would get an entry door install done in one day on the job, when you are replacing a window transom above the door you add additional work that is needed to be done to complete the project. Despite the additional time spent on the job, the entry door turned out beautiful and the customer absolutely loved their new door!

Unlike their previous patio door, which was a sliding patio door, the customer chose to go with a swing patio door instead. Despite struggling with removing the older, wooden windows on the home that was close to 80 years old, our installers were able to replace all 10 windows that the customer was looking to replace in a day and a half on the jobsite. Our installers worked tirelessly to get the older windows out and put the brand new ProVia windows installed on the home in Irwin. Most of the windows we installed were double hung windows. In just one day on the job, our installers were able to remove the old fiberglass door and install a brand new ProVia entry door for the customer in North Versailles. The customer kept the new door similar to the old entry door they had by having the new door have one sidelite as the older door did as well. The big difference between the old door and the new door is that the customer chose to have less glass in the middle of the entry door than the older door had. The customer loved the work of Mt. This was a very unique job for our installers to complete. The customer wanted to have the trim on the outside of their windows built out a bit to look a bit more fancy. Though we do not do this for most of our window projects, we were able to do it for this customer in Scottdale.
